🤓 The Technical: Reviewed and submitted a PR today on the Magento side — built out an inventory history grid and a few API fixes, the kind of work that's mostly satisfying once you get the data flowing the right way. Also handled a change request ticket using Claude to keep the workflow tight, which felt like the right play for a Friday afternoon. Mid-day I pivoted to a couch office setup with the MacBook to fend off burnout, with Hubert close by for moral support. Sometimes the best productivity hack is just changing rooms.

😎 The Atmosphere: Veronica Mars Season 2, Episode 7 — "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner." Bumped my IMDb rating to a 9/10, which is a significant jump from where I had it a decade ago. I'm watching this show with very different eyes this time around. Also: that Trina adoption reveal is doing some heavy lifting, and the Meg/Duncan cliffhanger has me genuinely curious where the writers are taking it.

🐶 The Coworker: Hubert spent most of the workday parked next to me on the couch, doing his part. By the time I got home from the evening's plans, he had moved into "moody" mode — apparently mildly offended that I'd been gone, but willing to be won back with company and a quiet show together.

🙂🙂🙂 The Smiles: It's the weekend, and I got to play Magic. That's pretty much the whole entry. Hit the shop for Friday Night Magic, played four games of casual Commander, won two — a solid showing. Used the Wheel feature I've been building into the bot to pick which decks to bring, which was a nice loop of using one of my hobby projects to support another. Closed the night with a quick McDonald's run and an episode at home with the moody Frenchie. Some weeks you need a Friday like this.
