🤓 The Technical: At the day job, I was mostly blocked — the lead is out for Victoria Day (yes, I looked it up), and it turns out I may not even have permissions to merge the PRs needed for this week's release anyway. Not my fault. Not my chair. On my own stuff, it was a productive stream day. Migrated the Twitch bot from tmi.js to Twurple, which opens up a much richer set of trackable chat events — raids, gifted subs, bits, bans, actions, announcements. We were mostly just catching parts and joins before as well as standard messages. Also added a call-to-action to the task board widget so viewers understand it's interactive, complete with a toggle that's alias-aware for streamers who've customized their commands. Finally, added a dynamic "Create New Wheel" link to the wheel widget — once you've pulled two or more winners, it appears and drops them into a fresh wheel pre-populated. Built it specifically to pick my nine Commander decks for tonight, but the use case is real and the feature is clean.

😎 The Atmosphere: Four hours of live stream. Chat was the atmosphere today.

🐶 The Coworker: Hubert spent the morning soaking up the sun outside and the afternoon doing his own thing. Minimal interference. Respectable professionalism from him, as always.

😡 The Rant: Fish oil burps. That's it. That's the rant.

🙂🙂🙂 The Smiles: The wheel I built today isn't just a feature — it's a tool I immediately used to pick which nine Commander decks to pack for Magic night. There's something satisfying about shipping something and using it the same day. Also learned about Victoria Day. Worldly. And I got to chat with my best friend. Always a smile.
