The Technical: Today’s "Senior Dev Rescue" involves more than just a standard IDE refactor. I’m using Claude Code to perform mass structural changes on my Magic site (Accumulated Knowledge). It’s handling the heavy lifting of migrating controller files into a new Profile directory—not just updating namespaces, but recursively syncing the hierarchical changes across all related templates, filenames, and HTML titles. It's the kind of architectural "janitor work" that usually takes hours of manual regex, now handled in a flow.
The Atmosphere: Sorkin is the soundtrack for the "Emergency State" project today. Idris Elba’s defense of Molly near the end of Molly’s Game—that raw, principled stand right before the skating scene—never fails to hit. Jessica Chastain is incredible in every sense of the word; that level of intensity is the perfect background noise for a high-pressure Wednesday.
The Coworker: Hubert is currently a "Closed-Door Consultant." He’s frustrated hearing the packing noise from the other room (he’s a social creature), but I’ve managed to distract him with a treat-stuffed rubber toy. My hands aren't quite as nimble as they used to be, so it was a clunky refill process, but it’s keeping my office-mate occupied for now.
