How to play

This is Klondike, the classic one-player patience game. The goal is to move all 52 cards onto the four foundations at the top right, one pile per suit, built up from Ace to King.

The layout

• Seven piles are dealt across the table. The first has one card, the last has seven, and only the top card of each is face up.
• The rest of the deck is the stock, at the top left. Tap it to turn over one card (or three, with Draw 3) onto the waste next to it. When the stock runs out, tap it again to turn the waste back over. You can go through it as many times as you like.

Moving cards

• On the piles, build down in alternating colors: a red 9 on a black 10, a black 8 on that, and so on.
• You can move a face-up card together with every card on top of it, as long as the bottom card of the group fits where it lands.
• Only a King (or a group that starts with one) can go in an empty pile.
• When a face-down card is uncovered, it turns face up.
• On the foundations, build up by suit: any Ace starts one, then the 2 of that suit, and so on. A card can come back down from a foundation if you need it.

Controls

• Tap a card to pick it up. The places it can go are highlighted; tap one to move it there.
• Tap the picked-up card again to send it to the best place for it: a foundation if it fits, otherwise the first pile that takes it.
• Undo takes back your last move, up to 100 moves.
• Once the stock and waste are empty and every card is face up, Finish plays the rest to the foundations for you.
• Not every deal can be won. New game deals a fresh one.
